Problem Statement:

U.S. school districts were facing critical teacher shortages, while traditional university-based certification routes were too slow and costly to meet the urgent demand. In response, a large-scale initiative was launched to provide accelerated certification and professional development for new educators across multiple U.S. states.

Our Solution:

Operating across Texas, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Indiana, and North Carolina, the program trains over 70,000 teachers annually. Since 2005, it has undergone several iterations, evolving into one of the most impactful teacher development models in the U.S. We played a pivotal role in designing an accelerated, competency-based model that blended online modules with in-person workshops. With a structured, scalable assessment framework and standardized micro-teaching evaluations, the program ensured consistent, high-quality outcomes across states.

Measurable Outcome:

The impact has been substantial—85% of program graduates were successfully placed in classrooms within one year of certification. Additionally, teacher retention rates were 20% higher than the national average, and the competency-based approach led to a 30% increase in teaching effectiveness scores.
